Small Easter Character Treat Boxes

Small 2.5” x 2.5” footprint boxes in three variation

each have quick and easy assembly, 

with side flaps bending back into place 

to be held in place by tiny brads (this fastener style allows boxes 

to be de-constructed for re-use next year).  

Front duplicate character panel holds pupil circles in 

cut outs with cheek and beak, nose single or double layers

 added as overlays. "Arm” shapes overlay front panel 

at lower edge to hold egg, two-part carrot, or three-part tulip.

 Add optional name oval at top back to use this design 

as place card for table setting. 

The Chick treat box will be demonstrated thoroughly,

with differences or variations for the other two following.

INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Identify and cut the shapes:

A main box hull   B face front plate

C left and right wings

D face features: eye circles, cheek ovals, beak

E egg

NOT SHOWN: optional name oval

2. Bend back on all the perforations for base

segment, sides, front and back, side "wing" tabs.

3. Assemble the face features onto the face plate:

A) locate the beak center bottom guide mark on

face plate, then position and attach the beak at mark.

B) Add cheek ovals below eye cut outs, and

egg shape centered at bottom straight edg.

C) Position and attach wings at side lower edges

to overlap egg and tips at center.

4. Position and attach face plate at front hull segment

outlined by perforation lines. Also add and attach 

eye circles into eye cutouts.

5. Assemble the box by bending the back side "wing"

inward to overlap side panel to where punch holes

align. Then . . . 

. . . bend the side front "wing" inward in similar manner.

Insert small brad through holes of all layers

and secure on box's inside.

6. Repeat to assemble other side.

7. If desired, position and attach the name oval,

either on the back inside as shown here,

or on the back outside.

This completes the chick box assembly.

BUNNY TREAT BOX ASSEMBLY

8. Identify and cut the shapes:

A main box hull   B face front plate

 (not shown)  left and right paw arms

C face features: eye circles, cheek ovals, mouth/nose,

inner ears

D carrot base (leaves) and overlay

E optional name oval

9. Assemble the face plate.

A) locate the position mark for center bottom

of smile/nose, then position and attach.

B) position and attach cheek ovals under eye

cut outs; position and attach right arm at

side lower edge; assemble carrot.

C) Position and attach the carrot at center bottom

so that it overlaps previously-positioned carrot,

then position and attach second arm.

10. Position face plate over corresponding position

on main hull where front segment is defined by

perforation lines, then add eye circles in cutouts.

Position and attach inner ears in cutouts.

This completes the bunny box assembly.

LAMB TREAT BOX ASSEMBLY

11. Identify and cut the shapes:

A main box hull   B face front plate

C 

D legs with hoof overlays

E hair overlay & face features: eye circles, 

cheek ovals, mouth/nose,

F tulip stem curl base, center petal, side petals

NOT SHOWN: optional name oval

12. Assemble the face plate.

A) assemble nose by layering and attaching;

 locate the center top nose guide mark, then

position and attach in place. Also add hair shape

at center top where edges match.

B) assemble each leg by attaching hoof shape

C) position and attach cheek ovals below eye cutouts;

position and attach right leg at right side and lower

edges; also position and attach center petal onto

tulip base.

D) position and attach tulip near bottom center edge;

position and attach left leg.

13.  Position face plate over corresponding position

on main hull where front segment is defined by

perforation lines, then add eye circles in cutouts.
