Lord A Leaping Gift Tag

Dashing fellow leaps gracefully into Christmas gift giving 

to carry the theme of “Ten Lords A Leaping” as part of 

the Twelve Days of Christmas. 

Larger detailed tag includes off-set base with top hang hole, 

full silhouette that “shows thru” as the gentleman’s hose, 

jacket with show-thru buttons and overlaid cuffs, vest, 

neck ruff, flowing hair, face with cut-out eye lid, 

trousers and shoes. 

Finished tag measures approx. 5” tall x 2.5” wide 

when assembled. 

Pairs well with Box 3D Presentation for Soda Bottle 

and Sleeve 3D Gathered Wrap Large Bottle.

ASSEMBLY: 1. Identify and cut the shapes:

A offset tag base

B figure silhouette - shows thru as hose, shirt

C hand   D eye inset shape

E hair    F face   G upper cuff

H right jacket shape with button underlay

I lower cuff  J left jacket shape with button underlay

K trousers     L left & right shoe

M shirt upper, lower ruff

N vest    O opt. shirt overlay

P buttons show-thru underlay

2. Layout the first shapes to layer onto the silhouette:

a) position and attach shoes over matching edges

b) position and attach hand over matching edges

c) position eye inset into cut-out (later, glue to base)

d) position and attach trousers where

lower legs and inseam edges match;

e) position and attach the buttons show-thru

above trousers

f) position and attach face, vest, lower

and upper ruff;

g) position and attach jacket shapes; glue cuff buttons

into cutouts;

h) position and attach cuffs, hair.

Place the glued-up assembly under a flat heavy object

until completely dried, to help keep it flat,

and avoid warping or curling.

3. Position completed figure onto tag base, with

offset margin even all around.

4. If desired, add ribbon loop with tied

twine bow.
