Card stock boxes in four different sizes stand in rows
to convey the cheery message of the season.
This large display can stand on shelves or mantels.
"Christmas" measures 40" in the original size.
Rectangular accent panels on the front
hold the large letter cutouts.
A great pair, but of course, you can build only
the Christmas boxes, if you wish.
Requires 12x12 cutting capacity.
.
PROJECT NOTES:
Each box is constructed as BASE
(includes symbol with number) and LID.
Interior "struts" are attached
in 'V' formation pointing up and down inside BASE box to support box centers.
BOTH ENSEMBLES: Cut one LID front, LID accent, and BASE front for each box.
MERRY ENSEMBLE:
For M box, cut TWO each of sides and top sections for both BASE
and LID marked #1.
For Y, cut one LID front, LID accent and BASE marked #2.
For larger R cut TWO each of
boxing strips for base, lid and reinforcement strips marked #3.
For 'e' and
smaller R, cut TWO each of boxing trips for base, lid and reinforcement strips marked
#4.
CHRISTMAS ENSEMBLE:
For M, H and T
boxes, cut TWO each of sides and top sections for both BASE and LID marked #1.
For C, I and A, cut TWO each of sides
and top sections for both BASE and LID marked #2. For R, cut ONE each of boxing
strips for base, lid and reinforcement strips marked #3.
For S, cut TWO each of
boxing trips for base, lid and reinforcement strips marked #4.
Cut TWO strut reinforcement strips
with appropriately marked number for each letter box.
TUTORIAL:
The boxes in the two design groups shown here are absolutely identical in construction sequence to the boxes used in the "Believe" block boxes ensemble. Please visit that tutorial to see how the boxes are put together.
