Bunny Candy 3D Platform Tent

Amplify visual impact of a foil-wrapped candy sphere
or egg treat with this window platform tent.
Build the platform (with circle “nesting” cutout),
add front window and back tent walls that connect with
tab top, then overlay front & back simple silhouette bunny,
including optional inner ears and nose.
Front platform overlay panel can be used
to personalize the gift.
Two sizes included: shorter for “rocher” style
chocolate ball with paper,
or taller for 1.2 oz. chocolate egg from various makers.
Measures approx. 2” deep” x 2” wide x  5.5" (short)
or 32” deep x 2” wide x 6” (tall).

ASSEMBLY: 1. Identify and cut the shapes:
A platform box      B front tent wall with window
C window offset inner accent      D back tent wall
E front bunny "surround" body   F inner ear & nose
G back bunny surround   H bent ear tip add-on layer
I front platform/tent accent panel (name plate)
2. Prepare the platform box by bending back on all
perforation lines for panels, walls and tabs.
3. Bend the front wall and side walls back to align
the straight side wall edge to overlap the front wall tab
to perforation line, and glue the corner seam.
Repeat for the other front-to-side corner seam.
4. Repeat Step 3 for the back-to-side wall corner seams.
5. Bend the bottom tabs inward, then bend the bottom
panel down and glue into position.  NOTE it will be
possible to reach fingertips through the top panel hole
cutout to help adjust and apply pressure to the seams.
6. Position the offset accent window frame shape behind . . .
. . . the front tent wall, adjust so that an equal narrow
margin is exposed, and glue panel in place.
7. Position the front tent wall at the platform box
front panel, align bottom and sides, and glue in place.
8. Repeat the process for the back tent wall to
attach to the platform back panel.
9. Bring the top flanges together, adjust, and
glue together.
NOTE: the platform box at this stage of the assembly
could be used as a decorative platform box for
other candy-giving occasions if desired.
10. Prepare the front bunny surround shape by bending
the ear forward on the perforation line.
11. Locate the nose positioning guide cut mark
then position and attach the nose accent shape.
12. Identify the pivot perforation marks
at the narrow connection of sides to head.
These will need to bend slightly to allow
access to the tent to place the candy inside.
13. Position the whole and partial inner ear accent
shapes onto the head front.
14. Position the bunny front body surround
over the front of the tent, align the straight upper
inside edge, centered, along the tent's upper flange
perforation line, then . . .
. . . insert the side tabs into slots
to make any upward adjustments that may be needed,
then glue the tent flange to the backside of the head.
15. Position the back body over the back tent wall
and align with the body front edges, and attach,
taking care to match up all cut edges precisely.
16. Insert the tabs into the platform side slots
to complete the bunny display box.
17. To insert the candy inside the tent,
carefully pivot one side wall out of the slot
and away to access the side of tent. Then . . .
. . . re-position the side and re-insert tab into slot.
Here is the complete TALL bunny box.
18. If the short box is being assembled,
follow ALL the steps in exactly same manner.
Here are the two sizes side by side.
