Sack Wire Strip Close with Pumpkin Window

Traditional style small sack that can fold flat
for storage and reuse. Front window panel is clear-lined
to keep loose goodies inside, with “hollow” pumpkin shape
providing frame.
At top, fold-over tab shape with wire
(or pipe cleaner) enclosed to provide easy way to roll
the top down and secure by bending wire/tab ends inward.
Sack measures approx. 3.85” wide x 7.75” tall x 2.5” deep.
Make this goodies container even more special by adding
the “Tag Ghost Booty Print and Cut” separate design.

UPDATE: 10-13-22  - SILHOUETTE has informed me that
there is currently a problem with dimensional and print & cut designs
being "trapped" inside their malfunctioning approval tool.
It may be a few days before these designs are in the online store.

ASSEMBLY GUIDE:
1. Identify and cut the shapes:
A main sack shape front
B main sack shape back
C clear window liner
D front pumpkin window surround accent
E wire strip closure
NOT SHOWN: bottom panel liner accent (see Step 12)
2. Prepare the main sack shapes by bending on
perforation lines as "mountain" or "valley" folds (as viewed
from face side).
3. Align the center seam of the two main sack shapes
then overlap the straight side edge of one sack (back
in this case) over the adjacent side flange/tab (front, here)
to perforation line, adjust for top to bottom alignment,
then glue the seam.

4. Position and attach the clear panel liner behind
the window cut out of front main sack shape.
NOTE it make be necessary to use specific types
of adhesive with any clear material.
5. On the front main sack panel, position the pumpkin
accent shape around the window cut and carefully
align the cut edges of cutout of both layers,
then attach in place.
6. Prepare the wire closure strip with tab shape
by bending the long perforation of the "strip" portion
as a "mountain" fold, then bending the tab perforation
line as "valley" fold (the shape is seen from the backside
in this image).
7. Cut a thin piece of craft wire approx. 1/2" shorter
on each end than strip length. NOTE if you don't have
thin wire, you can use PAPER twist ties, one or two.
8. Apply strong quick grab glue to one underside of
the strip portion, then center the wire within that side
of strip - both lengthwise and for width - then . . .
. . . bend the upper half of strip down into position
to enclose the wire, and apply pressure up and down
the length until the adhesive secures the complete strip.
9. Position, align and attach the second side seam
between sack front and back panels.
10. To fold and secure the bottom of sack, first
bend the side bottom segments inward toward
center as shown. Then . . .
. . . apply glue between the layers near the triangle
perforation folds at front and back panels.
Apply pressure to the areas being glued until secure.
11. Next apply glue to the face of the triangle segments
just glued together (NOTE that the front bottom panel
includes slash cuts that will make it appear slightly
different); also add glue on underside around rectangle
and half-circle tab edges. Then . . .
. . . bend the back end panel, then the front end panel
into position that is perpendicular to sack side creases.
Apply pressure to join all the bottom panel layers.
NOTE that this will involve reaching into the sack,
possibly with sack standing upright on flat surface.
12. Apply glue or dry adhesive double-side tape
to underside of the bottom panel liner accent,
then insert it into the sack and down to bottom panel . . .
. . . so that it can fit within bottom panel perforations.
and apply pressure to secure in place where it will
hide the bottom construction and provide reinforcement.
13. Position the tab portion of the wire strip assembly
at the top of the back main sack panel. Center
the tab portion over the top sack edge between
perforation lines, then tuck the sack edge into the
perforation bend, with the tab on the outside.
.
Glue the tab to sack securely
14. To fold the sack flat for storage, locate the
horizontal half-width line on the side of sack
back panel - on both sides. It should bend as
"valley" fold.
Push the sides inward and allow the fold
mentioned above to help . . .
. . . the back half of bottom assembly to bend back
on top of the back panel as the perforation folds.
As it fully folds "flat" you can apply fingertip pressure
along the middle where the fold is underneath.
15. To close the sack, bring the front and back sack edges
together, with the side panels pleated between.
Bend the closure strip downward at the perforation
between tag and strip.
("Roll" or bend the sack top under one more rotation
if desired. This will involve folding the sack layers.)
Bend the ends with wire inside back at sack edges.
16. Adorn the front of filled treats sack with
"a little Boo'ty for you" print and cut ghosty tag.
if desired.
