Chocolate Mini Box Wrap Place Card

Mark each guest's special seating location
at harvest or holiday feast or brunch.
One-piece box tray with punched wrapper shape
is large enough to hold a single gourmet confection
as an after-meal sweet treat.
Attach punched simple tag with twine that holds
wrapper in place with penned guest name.
Box measures approx. 1.25"  tall with
1.5"x1.5" base when closed.

ASSEMBLY: 1. Identify and cut the shapes:
A main box shape   B wrap strip
C name tag   D accent circle reinforcement
2. Follow this diagram to crease the main box shape . . .

. . . folding long and end folds from end to end
in one direction, then . . .
. . . rotating 90 degrees and repeating the folding
of long and short perforation lines.
3. Bend the diagonal short folds into "valley"
folds that form inward gussets . . .
. . . and pinch along the perf fold to complete.
4. Form the main shape into its box shape
with ends and pointed "flaps" extending up
on all four sides, with gussets bending inward.
5. To complete the candy gift, place an individual
chocolate confection with wrapper if possible
into the box interior.
Direct gusset folds on sides of candy
of base space.
Fold a pair of sides into position with flaps folded down,
then fold final pair of sides into position.
If helpful, a temporary sticky strip or dot can be
used to keep flaps closed.
6. Prepare the wrap strip by bending back
on the four perforation lines.
7. Wrap the strip around the closed box
and bring flap ends together at center.
8. Complete the tag by attaching the reinforcement
ring. Also, pen or print names onto tags.
9. Attach tag with twine threaded through
band strip punch holes, and tie knot and bow.
