Heart Stars Stripes Emblem Card

Patriotic or July 4th card features a heart emblem
 at center with stars above, stripes at bottom, 
layered center panel which can include 
the “print & cut” prepared sentiment 
“Happy Independence Day”. 
Layered borders at top and bottom add 
detailed accents. 
Card measures approx. 4.63” wide x 6.25” 
when fully assembled and folded along left side edge.
ASSEMBLY: 1. Identify and cut the shapes:
A card base for A6 size
B top edge border array: solid base, solid contrast middle,
star cut outs top
C bottom edge border array: solid base, solid contrast middle,
star cut outs top
D print & cut middle banner top layer "Happy
    Independence Day"
E contrast (gold glitter) second banner layer which
shows through as narrow borders around banner
F stripes overlay
G upper "lobes" contrast overlay and mini heart accent
H heart emblem base (shows thru stripes, star cutouts)
2. Build the heart emblem:
A) position the upper lobes overlay at top of
heart base so that it is centered and cut edges
are aligned.
B) position the contrast (narrow borders) banner
onto the upper margin of stripes overlay, align
upper and side edges, and attach in place.
C) position the stripes banner assembly unit over
the heart base and abut top straight edge at the lower
edges of loves accent overlay, and adjust so that
side shaped edges align, and attach in place.
D) position and attach the print & cut banner overlay
(or substitute plain stamped or penned panel)
centered over the contrast (gold) banner accent.
E) position and attach the tiny heart centered
side to side, and overlapping the central banner.
3. Prepare the upper border array by positioning
and attaching the contrast (cream) strip onto 
the base (red) strip with upper and side edges 
aligned, then position and attach stars cut out strip
with top and side edges aligned.
4. Repeat for the bottom border array.
5. Prepare the card base by creating a side fold.
6. Position and attach upper and bottom border
units at respective top and bottom edges of
front panel. If using liquid adhesive, press under
a heavy flat weight until fully dried.
7. Locate the guide cut marks on card base
which show where the heart emblem point and
top "valley" edges should be placed, then position
and attach emblem in place.
