Knight Crest Bottle Label Print & Cut

Use the print & cut features of the Silhouette Cameo

to print this knight crest label onto adhesive label paper,

then attach to regular cut-out band,

personalize it if you choose, then place one

at each table setting of your Knight Quest Party Feast.

(Or, if you are using other systems, simply print

and "fussy-cut" the oval.)

ADVICE: Review a good tutorial to better understand
how to use the Silhouette Studio/Designer Studio
software and system (or other system you may be using)
that facilitates the print & cut process.

PROCESS & ASSEMBLY:
1. Set up the print & cut colored designs in the software,
selecting 8.5x11 paper size. Apply the registration
print marks to your setup (make sure the images
are positioned within the markings).
NOTE that the bottom registration mark has been
moved up -- and could have been moved up even
more to conserve label paper.

2. Select your printer and send the job to print.

For extra ease in the process, I have inserted

a sheet of adhesive back paper (label sheet).

Regular white card stock that your printer can handle

is also a good choice, but will need to have

adhesive applied to attach it to the band base.

3. Prepare the printed sheet to cut by positioning 

in the upper left of the cutting mat, in the usual manner.

Send the job to the cutter where the outer oval

shape will cut.

4. Lift the oval emblems from the cut mat . . .

. . . center and attach on the front of the
previously (conventionally) cut band.

5. Center the band front as desired on the

beverage bottle, then wrap the ends to the

backside, overlap and glue edges.

Carrots Trio (Sq. & Hex) Fence Box Displays

For Easter and spring display, 

choose four-panel or six-panel dimensional carrots trios 

which stand upright on the platform box. 

Box top and bottom panels have openings to anchor shaft and tip.

Picket fence panels fit on platform front, back and sides. 

Fill will treats, or use as decoration only. 

Carrots measure approx. 8.5" tall (tip to top) x 1.75" (or 2.5") wide. 

Box measures approx. 8" long x 3.25" wide x 3.5" tall.

ASSEMBLY: 
1. Identify and cut the shapes:
(These shapes are for the four-panel carrot version)
A carrot body panel (2)   B green carrot tops (4)
C platform main shape   D platform end
E platform bottom reinforcement
F front, back picket fence shapes
G side (end) picket fence shapes

(These shapes are for the six panel carrot version.)

A carrot body main shape (3)   B green carrot tops (6)

C platform main shape    D platform end shape

E bottom platform reinforcement shape

F front, back picket fence shapes

G side (end) picket fence shapes

2. Prepare the carrot body shapes (both versions)

by bending back on vertical perforations and

widest horizontal perforation,

forward at narrow neck perf.

3. Join the panels together at one side seam (4 panel) . . .

. . . or two side seams (6 panel). 

4. Form the carrot body into a cone and complete

the final side seam.

NOTE that the symmetry of the assembled

carrot body shapes (both versions, make it

possible to flatten the assembly in order

to apply pressure along the seam edges.

Attach the carrot top 'greens' at the top of

each segment. Here is the four panel carrot . . .

5. Prepare the platform shapes by bending back

on all perforations and tabs.

6. Join the separate end shape by sliding the end

tab under the side straight edge of the main shape

(perforations and tab perfs should line up)

and completing the seam.

(Shown is 6 panel; assembly is the same for both.)

7. Bend the sides back to form a box tray
to overlap the straight end along the adjacent tab
perforation line, and complete the corner seams.

8. Press in the flanges within the carrot holes

slightly. Six panel shown here . . .

9. Prepare the end picket fence shapes by bending
back the side tabs.
10. Position and attach the end pickets to the
platform ends, with bottom edges aligned,
and picket centered side to side.
Bottom half of lower rail will attach to the
platform side.

11. Position and attach the front and back pickets,

overlapping and attaching on top of the

side picket tabs.

12. Prepare the bottom reinforcement shape

by bending up the edge flange tabs.

13. Apply adhesive to the backside of the

flanges, then insert the reinforcement into the

bottom of the platform. Push inward carefully

until the straight bottom edges are lined up

all around. Hold in place and apply pressure

to attach all flanges.

14. Complete the carrots by "gathering" the

necks together to the center and wrapping

with decorative twine.

15. Assemble the display by inserting

the carrot tip through the platform top opening

and allowing to extend down until the tips

rest in the openings in the reinforcement shape.

Castle Guard A7 Gift Card

Layered side towers flank center tower that 

has crenelated ramparts, entry arch. 

Separate lower flap door has five wood plank shapes.

Under the gate,  half circle tabs can hold a gift card in place. 

Arch is layered with under shapes that allow 

side and top nib tabs to slip into place as closure. 

 Measures approx. 5x7. 

ASSEMBLY:
1. Identify and cut the shapes:
A card base   B castle base (middle tower show-thru)
C side tower assembly (2 sets)
D flag unit (2 sets)
E middle tower top battlements
F front arch (1)  G arch build up with nib shaping (2)
H drawbridge base    I gate planks
J backside message space

2. Assemble the left and right side towers

with base (shows thru window), lower tower,

upper tower with window, flag/cone shape,

cone and cone shadow.

3. Position and attach battlement base
and crenelation accent shapes to top of
main tower base.
(NOTE that final design castle base
includes nib shaping not shown here.)
4. Position and attach side towers
to main tower base.

5. Layer the arch shapes, with nib "cutout" arches

on the bottom, front straight-edge shape on top.

Take particular care that all edges line up

as precisely as possible to help the gate

close and 'latch'.

6. Position the arch assembly layers
onto the castle tower base assembly . . .

 . . . taking care to line up the interior matched

edges as precisely as possible.

7. Position and attach the tower/arch assembly

onto the main care base, centering and 

aligning lower and side edges precisely.

8. Prepare the drawbridge base by bending

the bottom tab back as shown.

9. With the tab bent completely under,
position the shape between the bottom arch 'legs'
with the perforation fold even with the bottom
edge of the main base, and glue in place.

10. Test the closure, if desired, by flexing/arching

the drawbridge shape to ruck the top and side nibs

under the arch into their 'pockets'.

11. Lay out the gate planks for spacing preview,

then position and glue in place.

NOTE that the planks should have a slight

inset within the arch, but will touch each other

along plank sides.

12. If desired, on the card base backside,

position and attach the message rectangle

to cover the gift card tab cutouts.

Insert the gift card under the drawbridge

between the three tabs and the bottom fold.

Guard Tower A6 Card

Enchanted invitation for a knight or princess party, 

or birthday greeting has front gate flap 

that flips upward to reveal the message panel. 

Front bottom tab strip wraps to back at bottom 

to slide into a back bracket. 

Measures approx. 4.63" wide x 6.25". 

ASSEMBLY: 1. Identify and cut the shapes:
A main card base    B tower base
C tower front   D crenelation accent shapes
E gate base with panks
F gate and built up (2)
G banner shapes   H back tab bracket

2. Assemble components:

top - layer crenelation base with dentelle top

lower left - layer arch build up

lower right - layer banner shapes

3. Center and attach the tower base onto the
card base.
4. Prepare the tower front by bending forward
at the upper perforation line, and back
at the lower tab perforation line.
Position and attach only the upper portion
 to the matching tower base upper portion.

5. Position and attach the gate base

shape, centering it between the two

cut marks at the lower front tower bottom edge

as indicated here. 

Tower and gate bottom edges should match.

6. Position and attach the banner shape,
either above the gate, as is previewed here . . .

. . . or across the gate as shown here.

7. Prepare the tab latch bracket by bending
the sides both back where the edges
will meet at center back.

8. Apply glue to the middle shape
along a narrow margin at upper
shaped edge only, as shown,
then 're-close' the back sides to glue in place.

9. Apply glue to the entire back (two halves) . . .

. . . then position at the center back of card base,

with bottom straight edges even with base

bottom edges.

To latch the card in closed position,

bend the bottom tab to the back and tuck

up into the interior space of the bracket as shown.
